Election Day
I know I haven’t been actually writing. I had to get out of my head and just start to write. So here we go.
It’s Election Night!!!!
I barely made it to the polls before they closed but made it with 10 minutes to spare. I won’t say I didn’t drive a little fast to make sure I go there in time…..shhhh don’t tell.
I finally got home at 8 and had a visitor. He knew I would be late and wanted to make sure that I had by garbage taken out. I have to admit it is pretty great to have someone come over and take that out for me. Especially considering I have been cleaning out things and throwing all sort of things away. All of my trash cans have been full for weeks now.
He thought I should eat after I got home, but since I had eaten lunch late I was not all that hungry. I could have just had some Ramen and been happy. He ordered me food and made sure I ate. We talked about the interview I had today. I was strongly encouraged to apply for another position in the company to advance my career. Hopefully I can get that position it will allow me to get home earlier and get things done so I am not always spending my weekends doing things I cannot get done because I don’t get home until late. I would give me more time to spend with him.
I should know something next week. But I have to do more new Rep training again, another reason I need a change. I am doing someone else’s job because they refuse to replace our trainer that was demoted. How can I do my job when I am doing others people jobs? Hence the long hours and working at night when I get home.
I need more time for a social life and for you know……
